UK: Hotel chain YOTEL has launched its first aparthotel in Europe with the opening of YOTELPAD London Stratford today.

The 62-key YOTELPAD offers accommodation in a range of layouts, which are bookable for one-night, one-month or longer.

Each unit comes with a kitchenette, smart bathroom, and a work desk. Signature YOTEL brand offerings include a smart bed, mood lighting, a smart TV, and toiletries from beauty brand Urban Jungle.

The new-build development has achieved BREEAM excellent rating. Features include occupancy sensors in the rooms and corridors to control lighting, air source heat pumps for hot water, MVHR ventilation system and heat recovery, solar panels and a green roof.

As part of the opening, YOTELPAD London Stratford has partnered with prettylittlelondon to create a guide to local sights and activities. Digital and physical maps will be available to guests and for those that complete the route (with a selfie at a minimum of five stops and proof of 10,000 steps), a free drink or snack can be redeemed at Grab & Go.

Hubert Viriot, CEO at YOTEL, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming our first guests at YOTELPAD London Stratford this week, and to debut the brand outside of the US for the first time. It marks an exciting step for us, as we target growth for the YOTELPAD brand globally, to meet the surging demand for flexible, extended stay accommodation worldwide.”

The first YOTELPAD opened in Park City in 2020 followed by Miami in 2022.
