France: Staycity has undertaken a major refurbishment of its Gare de l’Est property in Paris, giving all 50 apartments and guest areas a makeover.
The aparthotel, which has been operated by Staycity since 2008 is a three minute walk from Gare de l’Est in the 10th arrondissement and close to the Picasso National Museum, the Louvre and next to the Canal Saint-Martin. Gard du Nord, with its links to London via the Eurostar and onward to other northern European countries, is just a short walk.
“With its enviable location in central Paris, our Gare de l’Est property has always been popular with our guests but as the company expands across Europe it’s important that all our aparthotels comply with our stringent brand standards and offer guests the same reliable quality wherever they stay with us,” said Jason Delany, director of brand, product & marketing.
Staycity Paris, Gare de l’Est offers a range of studio and one-bedroom apartments, all with their own fully equipped kitchens/kitchenettes as well as 24-reception and an on-site laundry.
Staycity operates a second Paris location in Marne la Vallée near Disneyland Paris, a resort location which opened in 2019 with 284 apartments and 12 holiday villas. It is the location for IHM’s Recharge event, which is taking place on March 28 and 29.
It also operates aparthotel properties in Bordeaux and Marseille. A third Paris destination is due to open later this year in La Defense with another near Roissy Airport scheduled to open in 2023.
By the end of Spring 2022 Staycity will operate a total of 5,000 European apartments across its Staycity Aparthotels and premium Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity brands.
