FRANCE: Paris-based Louvre Hotels Group has announced it has 30 of its extended stay Tulip Residences in the pipeline for Europe.
Louvre Hotels Group is planning on opening around 150 properties this year across its portfolio, which includes openings of its extended stay aparthotel brand, Tulip Residences, in Lille, Metz and Nice.
Max Cergneux, chief development officer Louvre Hotels Group told Hotel News Now some of the company’s markets are already outperforming 2019 pre-pandemic levels and the group has plans for growth in the midscale segment in Europe, and its new extended-stay product, Tulip Residences.
Cergneux said: “We entered into extended stay… we opened the first one in Paris last year followed very soon by a new opening in Poland and it’s had a very good reception as a product. Today in Europe we have a pipeline of around 30 openings of Tulip Residences and we want to continue growing this brand.”
Tulip Residences is described by Louvre Hotels Group as “a new lifestyle long-stay aparthotels concept in coliving and coworking that combines the world of home and office with living spaces around its Tulip Café, ideal for short or long term apartment and studio rentals.”
Louvre Hotels Group has hotels and extended stay ranging from 1 to 5 stars. Brands include Royal Tulip, Golden Tulip, Campanile, Tulip Residences, Kyriad, Kyriad Direct, Tulip Inn, and Première Classe; the five brands of the Sarovar network in India; the Hôtels & Préférence Group as well as the TemptingPlaces brand. The group also has a distribution agreement with the Barrière group.
