Germany: Locke will open its 13th property at East Side Gallery, in Berlin in June 2023.
The property will have 176 sleek studio apartments, which will have kitchenettes and living areas. Co-working area, third-wave coffee shop, deli, audiophile bar and restaurant ANIMA, meeting and events space with a rooftop terrace, a 24-hour gym will also be included.
Designed by Matthew Grzywinski of Grzywinski+Pons, each apartment combines neutral tones, natural textures, and raw concrete The ground floor will have social spaces such as a cafe, bar, restaurant, reception lounge and co-working spaces. ANIMA, an audiophile bar and restaurant will also be on the ground floor themed to combine food and music. The concept will be reflected in the food and drinks, for sharing and featuring fresh, local and seasonal products with a selection of natural wines, spirits, cocktails and craft beers.
