UAE: PropTech serviced apartment platform Homelike has launched operations in Dubai with an initial 2,500 units and an expected 6,000 units in the next six months.

Homelike’s platform will serve over 15,000 corporate clients in Dubai, spanning relocation, project assignments, digital nomads, flexible workers and more.

Accommodation will also range from serviced apartments and aparthotels to coliving and pods, catering to both long and short stays.

The expansion into Dubai follows the group’s entry in Denmark earlier this year in January, as well as Portugal in August 2023.

Philipp Morawietz, managing director of Homelike, said: “Dubai represents a strategic market opportunity for Homelike, and we are excited to unveil our expansion plans and revenue projections for the region. With our proven track record of success in Europe and a clear roadmap for growth in Dubai, we are confident that Homelike will emerge as the leading platform for corporate accommodations in the Middle East.”

In May last year, Homelike merged with Q Global Network to create a flexible living platform, totalling more than 180,000 apartments in more than 70 countries post-merger. The eight figure investment by parent company QIG aimed to “position QIG holdings at the forefront of the technological changes happening in the industry,” said CEO Colum Campion at the time.
