US: Serviced apartment agent Synergy Global Housing has made a series of executive appointments as well as promotions within its global leadership team.
Synergy has appointed chief technology officer Aaron Turner, who will support the company in releasing a booking and reporting platform early this year.
In Texas, business development directors Renee Seibert-Ottley (Austin) and Jennifer Binder (Houston) have also been appointed. Richard Franco, who opened the market, has been promoted to director of operations, central US.
The company’s California corporate headquarters in San Ramon will be relocating to Houston, Texas by Q2.
Henry Luebbert, Synergy‘s co-founder and interim CEO, said: “We go where our clients need us to be and the central US has become a key focus during the last few years. While the headquarters are moving, our commitment to California continues and will remain intact as we expand our area of coverage across the US. We will aways maintain robust operations in the home of our roots including San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles and Seattle.”
Synergy has also made a number of internal promotions:
- Eunice Chu, previously corporate controller, has been promoted to chief financial officer, replacing retiring CFO Patrick Shearer.
- Claire Barrie has been promoted to EVP, sales, marketing and supply chain.
- Cara Lingle, reporting to Barrie, has been promoted to VP supply chain and US sales.
- Mary Corrales, reporting to Lingle, has been promoted to senior director, business development, and will now oversee the western US sales team.
- Paula Millard, based in California, has been promoted to regional director, operations.
