US: Residential hospitality management company Reside has officially launched Papago Hotel, a newly renovated 70-unit boutique property operating under the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Originally built in the 1950s, Papago Hotel by Reside features an outdoor pool, fire pit, private cabanas, and a coffee bar and lounge areas. Room categories range from queen to king-sized, across courtyard and pool view, including a number of suites with kitchenettes.
The property’s Hai Noon restaurant is led by James Beard award-winning chef Nobuo Fukuda. The menu focuses on Japanese-inspired cuisine with locally sourced ingredients.
The launch follows a partnership between Reside and hotel franchisor Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, announced in 2024, which aims to expand the Reside brand to 50 US markets.
Papago Hotel joins the recent openings of Reside Navy Yard and Reside NoMa, both in Washington DC. Future locations are set to include New Orleans.
Lee Curtis, CEO of Reside, said: “Both business and leisure guests will experience the energy and culture that make Scottsdale a premier destination. We’ve revived the Papago Hotel by Reside, preserving its mid-century charm while elevating it with modern amenities and exceptional quality in hospitality. As we take on management, we’re thrilled to bring this unique property into the Wyndham Trademark Collection family, offering our guests the perfect blend of style and comfort, backed by the trusted quality that both Reside and Wyndham are known for.”
