UK: Lifestyle aparthotel brand The July has opened its first UK property, a 114-key site, in London’s Victoria.
The lifestyle hotel caters to all types of guests – solo travellers, long stays, short stays, and commuters. The property features two Family Apartments with interconnecting rooms designed for families.
The July’s in-house design team worked closely with interior architecture and design studio Fettle to design spaces in line with the Art Deco architecture in the area.
Guests have access to a gym and sauna, a dedicated coworking area, with reservable meeting spots, a bar.
The restaurant The Idler, headed up by chef Jay Campbell, offers modern British cuisine with a Mediterranean twist and is also open to non-guests.
An on-site Deli offers freshly baked goods and gourmet sandwiches throughout the day, with quality products available to purchase for those wanting to use their in-room kitchen.
The July also offers many communal, all-day spaces to encourage interaction between guests.
The July Victoria will hold BREEAM Excellent certification and more accreditations, with multiple initiatives to limit operational emissions.
A spokesperson from the July said: “We’ve created a place that works with the rhythms of how people really live and travel today. Whether it’s a one-night stop, a long stay, or just a good coffee and conversation in the co-working lobby, The July London Victoria is about more than a room—it’s a lifestyle.”
