Malaysia: Eastern & Oriental (E&O) has launched AVÉA, a RM1 billion serviced apartment development at Andaman Island in Penang.
The project will consist of 1,080 fully furnished serviced apartments housed in two towers, set to be completed in June 2030, within the Gurney Green precinct.
Following the launch of Maris at Andaman Island, AVÉA is E&O’s second marina-edge residential project. According to the company, Tower A has already achieved a 65 per cent take-up rate, while Tower B has now been released as the next phase of the development. The project has also received GreenRE Platinum Provisional Certification.
Unit sizes vary from 678 square feet up to 1,076 square feet and feature layouts that range from studios and one-bedroom to three-bedroom units, plus study areas.
Residents will have access to a waterfront promenade featuring retail outlets, cafés and communal spaces. Other facilities include swimming pools, landscaped gardens, sports courts, a rooftop garden, fitness areas and electric vehicle charging stations.
Kok Tuck Cheong, managing director of E&O, said: “Andaman is a long-term vision to create Malaysia’s most liveable curated island — a connected waterfront destination where people can live, work, play, learn, and sail within a vibrant and sustainable community.
“AVÉA represents another important milestone in that journey. As our second marina-edge residence, it strengthens Andaman’s waterfront living proposition through thoughtfully designed homes, lifestyle offerings and community spaces.”
