Japan: Frasers Hospitality has opened Fraser Place Roppongi, Tokyo, expanding its presence in Japan.

Located in the Minato district, the serviced apartment building offers 172 rooms ranging from studios to one- and two-bedroom apartments. Each residence has a kitchenette, an in-room washing machine and complimentary WiFi.

Guests also have access to a residents’ lounge and coworking hub, an indoor gym, meeting spaces and a daily breakfast service.

The new property strengthens Frasers Hospitality’s presence in Japan, building on Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka, said outgoing CEO Eu Chin Fen. Last week, Frasers Hospitality announced she would be stepping down from her role as CEO of Frasers Hospitality, effective Jan 1, 2027.

Eu added that the new property reflects Frasers Hospitality’s approach of entering markets with strong international appeal and tailoring its serviced living offerings to each location.

The 114-room Fraser Residence Nakai Osaka opened in 2010. It marked Frasers’ first serviced apartment in Japan.

Frasers Hospitality currently has a portfolio of more than 100 properties across 19 countries.

In Japan, its properties also include Ana Crowne Plaza Kobe, a 593-room hotel in Kobe City; Estem Court Namba VII Beyond Osaka, a 124-key premium rental apartment; and the 244-key Yotel Tokyo Ginza.
