Canada: Talma Travel Solutions has acquired Toronto-based Plus Travel Group, marking its first move into the Canadian market.
Talma said the acquisition, the terms of which were not disclosed, gives it local expertise in Canada while making its global reach and resources available to Plus Travel Group clients.
Plus Travel Group CEO Jeffrey Verman will remain in situ at the Canadian TMC.
“Our partnership with Talma Travel Solutions marks an exciting new chapter for our team and our clients,” said Verman. “It strengthens our global reach, enhances our collective buying power and expands the solutions and resources we can offer while creating new opportunities for continued growth.”
Talma has been growing its presence in North America, having taken a majority stake in Miami-based Brickell Travel Management in early 2023 and, via that subsidiary, acquiring a controlling interest in Solutions Travel last May. In the UK it has acquired Norad Travel Group and Blue Cube in recent years.

Tel Aviv-headquartered Talma, which is ranked as the 26th largest TMC in Europe, said it plans to make additional acquisitions in the coming months.
