Laura Chipp is a VAT consultant with 13 years’ experience. She has worked at accountancy firms Deloitte, Saffery Champness, BDO and Elman Wall before setting up her own VAT consultancy business, VATNAV, specialising in providing VAT and TOMS advice. Laura has advised businesses on VAT in a wide range of industries, but has particular expertise in the travel, hospitality and leisure sectors. She has worked with many operators of serviced apartments to improve their VAT position, and to represent these businesses to HMRC. One of her main focuses is to ensure that these often complex VAT principles are set out clearly and comprehensively for businesses.
