Lucy completed an HND in Hotel and Business Management before working at David Lloyd Leisure where she set up the conferencing and banqueting departments in new clubs. She then went on to be head of marketing for Eden Industries, a large manufacturer of interiors for retail outlets. In 2004, Lucy bought Craven House, spent a year or so renovating the property and launched the business in 2006 with three serviced apartments, whilst living downstairs. As her family had expanded, it was time to move out so the remaining space in which they had lived in was converted into two further apartments. Craven House in Hampton Court now had five luxury serviced apartments to offer. In 2013, Lucy purchased Springfield – a very run down property in Claygate but saw the potential and renovated it into a stunning three-bedroom apartment. Once complete, Lucy purchase what now is The Terrace, another three-bedroom apartment and renovated it to the same high and unique standard.
2016 was the 10th anniversary of Craven House. The industry has grown and changed in that time but Lucy has maintained great relationships with agents, especially Silverdoor and what was Deep Blue (now Flying Butler) and has continued with new and flourishing relationships with Oakwood, Bridgestreet, and SACO for example. The Craven House Collection has seven high-end, boutique, spacious apartments offering the very best in quality, elegance and friendly service. Our expertly-designed apartments are located in Hampton Court and Claygate, Surrey, and are the perfect choice for corporate relocation, holidays and business travellers and families.
