The announcement that the AA has launched a star-rating accreditation scheme for serviced apartment providers is yet another sign of the industry’s continued progress and establishment as a mainstream element of the hospitality industry.

Back in January, we predicted that a range of new accreditation schemes would lend the industry further credibility and the fact that the AA – which has been voted the most trusted brand in the UK – is adding its immense brand equity to the sector is a huge plus, particularly when it comes to spreading the message of brand awareness to leisure travellers.
