The poll found that the profession the British public trusts least to tell the truth are politicians (21% of those polled trust them), followed by the likes of estate agents (25%), journalists (25%), business leaders (33%), bankers (37%), and builders (42%).
The most trusted are doctors, teachers, judges, scientists and, interestingly, hairdressers.
As a journalist addressing business leaders, these stats are quite alarming for both of us, but here at Serviced Apartment News, we believe trust and reputation management is becoming increasingly important in doing business these days.
