With lots of positive news for serviced apartment providers over the last 12 months, Piers Brown, host of last month’s Serviced Apartment Summit Europe, said he felt the serviced apartment sector had “truly come of age” as it matures in to a mainstream element of the hospitality industry.

With Savills expecting the UK market to double in size over the next 18 months, and hospitality leaders predicting long term growth, Serviced Apartment News is dedicated to ensuring that our evolution and growth mirrors that of the serviced apartment and aparthotel sector and we continue to be the voice of the industry with a series of newly launched innovative events and initiatives.

Industry Leading Events
Fresh from the growth of the 2016 Serviced Apartment Summit in London – which this year co-located with the inaugural Short Term Rentalz conference to enable knowledge, networking and new business opportunities across the short term rental sector – we are looking forward to hosting the second annual Serviced Apartment Summit MEA(Dubai, October 30 and 31)  and Serviced Apartment Summit Americas (New York, April 2017) .

We are very grateful to have received increased support over the last 12 months, and have added these industry-leading conference events in two more leading global hubs for corporate business and international travel – not to mention thriving and established serviced accommodation markets – we are delighted to offer delegates learning opportunities and unrivalled new business and networking platforms on a local and global level now within three continents.

Serviced Apartment Awards
Designed to place another high-profile spotlight on the sector, we launched the first standalone Serviced Apartment Awards for serviced apartments, extended stay, branded residences and short term rentals earlier this year. The event, sponsored by The Fine Bedding Company, Gerard Nolan and Associates, Grange Hotels and The Ascott Limited, featured 18 award category winners with no cost to submit entries. Rewarding best practice and endeavour and celebrated amongst industry peers, we received over 200 entries and an unprecedented 9,000+ votes for our reader category awards. The winners were honoured amongst 350 industry peers at the five-star Grange Hotel Tower Bridge, London.
SAVE THE DATE: The Serviced Apartment Awards 2017 take place on March 20th and we look forward to celebrating this year’s industry achievements. Entries are being accepted from November 1st 2016.
