UK: Prestige’s Pudsey Bear Serviced Apartment Challenge day for Children in Need has raised £750 so far.

Staff from UK serviced apartment operator Prestige Apartments recently set themselves the challenge of visiting as many serviced apartment developments in one day as possible, to raise money for the Children in Need charity.

The team set off early for its first stop, Stratford in east London, and then worked their way through the City, the West End, the South Bank and finally up into west London. The event was followed throughout the day on Twitter with journey updates and thanks for donations received along the route. The team eventually managed to visit 21 serviced apartments in total and have so far raised £750.

One of the youngest members of the Prestige team, booking agent Elsa Wangsten, said: “It was a great adventure combining such a good cause with the opportunity to see many parts of London and so many of our serviced apartment providers.  Thanks to everyone who welcomed us and supported us with kind donations throughout the day.”

Prestige Apartments has promised to donate £1 for every “like” that its Facebook page receives from now until the end of the year.

All of the day’ pictures can be seen here and donations are still being received online here.
