Australia: Local officials joined Quest Serviced Apartments’ team to officially open Quest Albury on Townsend.

The Honourable Tim Fischer AC joined Mayor of Albury, Cllr Kevin Mack to officially open Quest Albury on Townsend – in the NSW town’s historic former Farmers and Graziers Woolstore building.

Quest COO Scott McAlister, Quest Albury on Townsend franchisees Noel and Madeleine Wood, Jason and Natasha Callewaert, and GM Kev Poulton – joined Fischer and Mack to celebrate the grand opening, with a cocktail party held at the property.

McAlister said: “It is in regional centres like Albury and Nowra that Quest’s value proposition really shines. Local commercial and industrial businesses are thriving in both locations and with this growth, comes a greater demand for Quest’s style of extended-stay corporate accommodation. Our two existing NSW/VIC border properties – Quest Wodonga and Quest Albury – already do exceedingly well and the new Quest Albury on Townsend will enhance this offering to ensure we can meet the needs of our guests, every time they are in the area. Quest Nowra is suffering a drastic shortage of accommodation supply – a demand the new property is perfectly placed to meet.”

“I extend my warmest congratulations and a huge thanks to James, Noel, Madeleine, Jason and Natasha for all the hard work they have put in to getting both properties up and running. Their dedication to the Quest brand and their guests has ensured the Quest standard of high-quality “home away from home” accommodation is delivered,” he added.
