UK: Staff from Select Property’s CitySuites serviced apartments in Manchester staged a flashmob at the city’s Piccadilly station.

The participants, dressed in Christmas jumpers and tinsel, aimed to spread the word about the benefits of serviced apartments to business travellers at the station. They also sang carols and handed out Christmas crackers.

Gavin Bailey, operations director at CitySuites, said: “Nobody looks forward to the Monday commute, especially when you’re working away from home, so we thought it would be great to inject some festive cheer into commuters’ days to welcome business travellers to the city of Manchester.”

“We know that when you come to a new city, whether for business or pleasure, that it’s sometimes hard to feel at home – especially during the festive season. We hope that our festive choir mob put a smile on the faces of Monday commuters, and helped Manchester feel like a home from home for those who were passing through, if only for the day,” he added.
