UK: On March 1st Staycity will open a further 125 apartments at its London Heathrow site.

The extension to Staycity Heathrow gives the property a total of 269 studios, one- and two-bed apartments, as well as the addition of a guest lounge and café on the ground floor, and a breakfast area and terrace on the podium level.

The property also features a fitness room, guest laundry, luggage lockers and car park.

It first opened in May 2012 and now has an average occupancy of 85%.

“We have had a high level of interest in Heathrow since we opened,” said Staycity CEO and founder Tom Walsh. “There is a strong demand from those travelling in and out of Heathrow as well as those taking the mainline rail out of London Paddington and people working with or visiting the many businesses in the area.”
