UK: Thames Valley serviced apartment provider House of Fisher is to open a 22-unit development in Newbury, Berkshire, this month.

Central Gate will open during May 2016 and will be the first owner-operated aparthotel in the town.

Offering stays from from one night to six months, it will offer free WiFi, free SKY TV (including sports and movies), onsite parking, weekly housekeeping service and 24 hour support from the guest services team.

Located on West Street, just off Newbury’s central high street, the scheme will offer a mix of 22 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for both business and leisure guests.

Robert Brown, business development director at House of Fisher, said: “We are delighted with this latest edition to our highly sought after portfolio of dedicated serviced apartment schemes and apart-hotels. As the third new major opening within twelve months and with further expansion across the counties in which we operate shortly, it continues to be a very busy and exciting time for all of us at House of Fisher. We are also proud to be investing in the idyllic market town of Newbury and we see significant potential for our new “top of the line” apart-hotel, raising the standards and brining a dedicated true home from home experience to Newbury. I and the team continue our mission to deliver best in class experience, product and value to the sector that we operate in.”
