UK: Signature Living’s proposals to create a 39-bedroom aparthotel have been given the green light by Liverpool’s planners.
An application by the hotel developer to regenerate the vacant One Arthouse Square building in the St Peter’s section of the Ropewalks area has been approved by Liverpool City Council’s planning committee. As well as the aparthotel, the project will include retail and F&B outlets.
Signature Living acquired One Arthouse Square, the former home of NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group, in March 2016.
The proposal involves a mix of single, double and triple rooms with a ground-floor reception and restaurant/bar space at ground floor and basement level.
The scheme had previously been recommended for approval by planning officers.
