UK: Leeds-based developer Town Centre Securities (TCS) has revealed plans for an aparthotel in the city centre.

TCS will make a pre-application presentation to Leeds City Council’s city plans panel on 12 October, to gauge whether the development on George St would be acceptable, ahead of submitting a full application.

The proposal is to create a single building containing approximately 117 units – made up of 82 studios, 31 one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units, using the appearance of the nearby Leeming Building as inspiration. The ground floor would contain nine units for a range of commercial uses, including retail, cafés and restaurants, bars or takeaways.</p
