UK: Marriott is launching a campaign to offer its London Residence Inn guests a programme of events hosted by local influencers.
Marriott says the programme offers “a unique way of exploring their host city, with a curated programme of free events led by influential residents”.
Launching in London, Take Residence: UK will offer hotel guests and the general public “an authentic opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and community local to the recently opened Residence Inn London – London Bridge and Residence Inn London – Kensington (set to launch in early 2018)”.
This winter will see food and travel Instagrammer James Thompson (aka Food_Feels) and Charlie Dark, the founder of cult running collective Run Dem Crew, launching these tours and exploring the area local to Residence Inn London Bridge. The campaign is then set to continue in 2018 at both Residence Inn London Bridge and Residence Inn Kensington, with an additional line up of London residents including food writer Victoria Stewart, holistic nutritionist, life coach and yoga teacher Pandora Paloma; fitness guru and TV presenter AJ Odudu; and creative walking collective The Midnight Run.
Following each of these tours, which accommodate from 11 to 30 guests, the influencers’ top tips to London will be accessible via a dedicated Take Residence: UK page within the Residence Inn website. The influencers will also help to create a community through which nearby businesses will offer discounts and added value experiences for Residence Inn guests, immersing them further into the local culture.</p
