Cheval Residences adds to finance and marketing teams

UK: London-based serviced apartment operator Cheval Residences has appointed Carole Walker as director of finance and Alexandra Wilson as assistant marketing manager.

Walker brings more than 20 years’ of extensive experience in the hospitality industry to Cheval Residences, having led the finance functions of  five-star luxury brands including The Savoy and the properties managed by the Maybourne Hotel Group –  Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley Hotel. Prior to joining Cheval Residences, as director of finance, she played an integral role as part of the pre-opening team for The Ned, a five-star hotel in the City of London, backed by a Soho House and Sydell Group Partnership.

Wilson joins Cheval Residences from Fresh Direct, one of the biggest fresh food suppliers in the UK. Prior to her role there, she worked for Bidvest 3663, one of the UK’s leading foodservice providers and Regus, a multinational corporation offering flexible workspaces. She will play an integral role in positioning Cheval Residences to the consumer and business traveller in London.

The new appointments follow those earlier in the year of Robert Speirs as marketing manager and John Philipson as operations director.
