US: AKA has announced the completion of AKA West Hollywood’s amenity spaces, completing the long-stay property at 8500 Sunset Boulevard.
AKA West Hollywood features 110 furnished serviced residences, some bi-level, available for long-term stays of 31 days or more. The eight-storey tower was co-designed by the Los Angeles-based studios of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill [SOM] and Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects [LOHA]. The one- and two-bedroom suites, in addition to penthouse residences on the eighth floor, offer view from Downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.

AKA West Hollywood features an open-air retail plaza including outlets from Fred Segal and KITH. Tesse Restaurant, led by chefs Raphael Francois and Sally Camacho, offers its European-inspired menu to residents of AKA West Hollywood via an exclusive in-suite dining menu. Residents may also order from Boutellier’s curated selection of wines through the wine shop’s on-demand “Suite Sommelier”. Fitness enthusiasts staying at AKA West Hollywood can head to Rumble Boxing, where residents of AKA receive exclusive perks on classes.
The residences range from 700 to 1,800 square feet in size, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows, custom walk-in closets, marble-clad bathrooms, private balconies, and bespoke furniture from Italy.
Amenities include a 24/7 dedicated resident services team, a lounge+terrace, AKA’s first elixir bar serving health-conscious beverages; a private, residents-only resort-style pool; a 24-hour Technogym fitness centre by designer Antonio Citterio; a cinema, custom bicycles by Republic Bike; a TESLA Model X house car; and on-site indoor parking.
The East Tower, also located at 8500 Sunset Boulevard, features 80 luxury apartment residences available for annual leasing. Residents may choose from one- or two-bedroom apartments, or spectacular dual-level penthouses featuring private outdoor terraces and breathtaking views of Los Angeles. East Tower Residents have access to all of AKA’s signature amenities.
