US: My Place Hotels of America has announced the brand’s 40th property, in St. George, Utah.
Located at 1644 South 270 East near the I-15 corridor, My Place Hotel-St. George, UT is independently owned by Hotel Barons STG, LLC. As the fourth My Place Hotel developed by principal engineer Craig Larsen, My Place will address “an under-served niche of travellers who require the comforts of home on the road at an affordable price”.
“We are thrilled to be part of this great community,” Larsen said. “As we continue our partnership with My Place, we have found that delivering a special kind of hospitality that makes guests feel at home the moment they walk through the door is invaluable. Having a family of our own, we have personally experienced the need for a quality night sleep, with home-like amenities, all at a fair price. We’re thrilled to introduce area travellers to the level of comfort, quality, and value that My Place has standardised.”
Plans are underway for a fourth My Place location in Utah, in nearby Hurricane, and a fifth in Moab. While the St. George location is a four-hour drive from its open Utah counterparts in Salt Lake City, the closest My Place Hotel just opened 90 miles away in Las Vegas last month.
Terry Kline, My Place EVP of franchise development, said: “We are honured to have trailblazers like Craig and his team at Hotel Barons on board as we collectively expand the My Place brand from coast to coast.” Kline said. “Their unwavering commitment to delivering quality accommodations and friendly service has resulted in tremendous contributions to My Place’s growth.”
