US: Atlanta-based developer Songy Highroads (SHR) has topped out at the 201-key Hyatt House Nashville.

The extended stay hotel in the city’s West End district is close to Nashville’s major academic and healthcare institutions – one block from Vanderbilt University, Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and TriStar Centennial Medical Center.

“Completing vertical construction marks a key milestone in the development of our first Nashville hotel,” said Todd Nocerini, COO of SHR. “We’re enthusiastic to complete the project and begin offering guests Midtown’s rich and various amenities all within arm’s reach – from music and nightlife to education and medical services.”

Wakefield Beasley & Associates designed the Hyatt House Nashville, with Reeves Young as the general contractor for the new-build.

“With construction progressing on schedule, the hotel should be completed in early 2019, as planned,” said Eric Young, president and CEO of Reeves Young. “We’re working hand-in-hand with SHR’s Hyatt team to ensure a seamless delivery of the new hotel.”
