WORLDWIDE: Qatar and Malta to get Adagio aparthotels as the extended stay brand announces the opening of seven new properties in 2022.
Two of the new locations include Malta and Qatar – a first for the aparthotel brand.
The Qatar aparthotel, the Adagio Doha C-Ring Road, will open in time for the FIFA World Cup’s guests and will offer 150 apartments, while the Malta property, Adagio Battery Street, will have 71 apartments and will offer coworking spaces too.
Adagio will open its second property in Scotland in Q3, Adagio Glasgow Custom House. The aparthotel will feature 160 flats and is close to the River Clyde and the city’s shopping streets. Adagio already has another Scottish property, Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile.
In Germany Adagio is opening two new sites this year, the Adagio Access Kiel City on the Baltic Sea will be the first to open and will offer 90 apartments, while the Adagio Access Hamburg Muhlendamm will offer 148 apartments and will feature urban art and the brand’s Circle communal space concept.
Belgium will see the opening of the Adagio Access Gent Centrum Dampoort, combined with Accor’s Ibis Budget, a 98 apartment property in Gent. At the end of the year Italy will have the Adagio Access Rome Colombo in a renovated building, which will offer 106 apartments.
The new openings support Adagio’s aim to double its global portfolio by 2025.
