UK: Bristol’s Wapping Wharf will soon be home to 13 serviced apartments after construction began on the development.

The six storey building, which has the working name Dockside Apartments, is being developed by Simon James Homes and built by John Perkins Construction.

Wapping Wharf is a new development in the centre of the city, described as a “vibrant community on Bristol’s Harbourside.”

The Simon James Homes development will offer apartments on a short term let basis and will feature kitchens, living and work space. It is aimed at professionals who have work in the area and need to stay near Bristol. There will also be an underground car park for residents of the apartments.

Simon Crocker, managing director of Simon James Homes said: “It’s fantastic to break ground at Dockside Apartments and start work on a stunning new addition to the thriving harbourside area of Bristol. This is an extremely well-considered development, and we’ve already been working with John Perkins Construction for more than a year to ensure the development can stand proud amid the harbourside skyline.”

The apartments are due for completion in Winter next year.
