AUSTRALIA: Best Western Hotel Group (BWH) has partnered with ARBT Property Group to bring the Executive Residency by Best Western brand to Australasia.

The extended stay brand will launch at the end of this year in Brisbane, as the Executive Residency Woolloongabba.

Executive Residency Woolloongabba, will offer 51 apartments for leisure and business travellers looking for extended stays. There will be two, three and four-bedroom apartments with living areas, kitchens and dining areas. Other facilities guests can enjoy are the pool and a gym.

BWH Hotel Group’s managing director Australasia, Graham Perry, said: “I’m delighted to say that we’ve just signed a multi-property deal with a Brisbane-based company called ARBT Property Group.”

ARBT, a specialist in modular hotel manufacturing, which builds hotels and residences off site to near 90 per completion, will help with the rapid expansion plans BWH has for its portfolio across Australasia. Once on site, the buildings can be completed at a rate of one to two storeys per day.

ARBT Property Group founder and CEO, Solomon Noel said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with BWH Hotel Group to bring our creative solutions, our shared vision and our innovative modular construction technology to life. In launching Executive Residency Woolloongabba, we can showcase our ability to optimise the construction process to produce premium quality hotels with faster construction times and reduced costs.”

BWH brands already in the pipeline include the opening of the second Aiden by Best Western in 2023.

Other Executive Residency properties globally include the Executive Residency by Best Western Calgary City View North, which opened just before the pandemic hit.
