SINGAPORE: CAP Worldwide Serviced Apartments has launched CAP Worldwide Singapore PTE Ltd and has opened an APAC service office.
The new office is in The Hive, within Singapore’s thriving Central Business District.
CAP CEO, Jo Layton said: ‘The CAP team have been successfully servicing our contracted clients across the APAC region for over three years. Now in our 4th year, the opening of our entity and office completes our tri-regional service delivery model for our valued clients, following the launch of The Americas operation, led by Americas Director, Laura Rurode in Chicago in August 2021.”
This latest stage in the development of CAP as the business responds to the continued growth of the company and increase in demand from the business travel and relocation sectors across the region.
Layton added: “CAP is fortunate to have a strong and fast developing pipeline of direct corporate and relocation clients, and we are thrilled to be able to respond to this growing demand by launching the CAP APAC office in this highly important market, and ahead of the schedule set out in our strategic growth plan.”
The increase in demand has been especially prevalent throughout 2022 driven by the loosening of restrictions, as well as the ease of doing business in the Singapore market.
CAP COO Andrew Hopgood said: “Eric Sin, our director of APAC, has established a firm footprint in the market for CAP. His background and tenure in the extended stay industry, working in the relocation and corporate sectors, has ensured his success in developing strong and strategic relationships with CAP clients and our trusted regional brand partners”.
Hopgood added: “With the opening of the Singapore entity and office, CAP is even better placed to deliver a cohesive ‘in-market’ support and traveller experience, whilst following the global clock, and our experienced team provides the local expertise and language skills to ensure a consistent and consultative service to our clients and their travellers across the region.”
CAP has continued to grow strongly over the last 18 months, supported by the strategic appointment of several new leaders and a number of client partnerships.
Layton said: “We are delighted to finish the year with this significant milestone achieved. This continues our exciting journey towards fulfilling the company goal of building the ‘best-in-class global serviced accommodation booking agency.”
CAP Worldwide Serviced Apartments was launched to the long stay market in early 2019 to deliver creative, agnostic, sustainable, diverse, cost-effective and innovative corporate apartment and accommodation programmes for the sector.
