Cycas appoints three operations VPs to support portfolio growth

Europe: Hotel management company Cycas Hospitality has appointed three vice presidents to support its ongoing expansion into new markets.

Dean Rossilli has been appointed as VP operations, and will cover Cyca’s London hotels and two new additions, which will open in mainland Europe later this year. These include the European debut of Motto by Hilton, urban lifestyle brand in Rotterdam. 

Rossilli joins from ONYX Hospitality Group, where he was area general manager and spent four years working for the operator in Malaysia. 

Rosilli has more than 30  years of international hospitality experience in branded full service hotels across the UK, US, Australia and Southeast Asia.

Luc Vicherd, previously regional general manager, will take on the role of  VP operations and continue to oversee Cycas’s French and Swiss portfolio – including its two dual-brand hotels by Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.

Bill Burnett, previously regional general manager, will be VP operations for Cycas’s properties in Southwest and Northern UK.

Speaking about the new operational structure, Apurva Pratap, MD of Cycas Hospitality, said: “We’re delighted to further strengthen Cycas’s operations team to ensure we continue delivering outstanding results as we expand into new markets.”

Other appointments include Vincent Panouillot as general manager following the opening this month of the Courtyard and Residence Inn Paris Charles de Gaulle Central Airport complex, Marriott’s first dual-brand hotel in France.

With more than 20 years international experience, Panouillot brings in-depth knowledge of the Parisian market following recent roles with Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels and Marriott International.

In London, Antonio Chiarotti joined Cycas as cluster general manager for aparthotels The Lincoln Suites in Holborn, and the Stow-Away Waterloo. Chiarotti, who combines 13 years of leisure, travel and tourism experience, previously worked with Stayo, Native Serviced Apartments and Generator London.

Manny Baber has taken over the running of the Hotel Indigo and Staybridge Suites Dundee dual-brand hotel. With more than 25 years’ experience managing F&B and hotel operations across the UK, Baber joined Cycas from Sleeperz Hotels and previously spent 12 years at senior operational level with Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
