KENYA: Thai brand Dusit International has opened an aparthotel in the Westlands neighbourhood of Nairobi.
The new Dusit Princess Hotel Residences Nairobi features 100 apartments ranging from studio, one-bedroom and deluxe hotel rooms in the commercial hub of Westlands Kenya’s capital.
The 56 one bed apartments have separate sleeping and living areas with kitchenettes featuring fridges, microwaves and a cooker as well as a washing machine and a dryer.
Other facilities guests can enjoy are a heated swimming pool, a rooftop gym and meetings and event space for up to 150 people.
The residences also has the Olive Restaurant (an Italian offering) and the rooftop Aviary Lounge Bar which has its own DJ.
The Westlands neighbourhood is 45 minutes’ drive from Nairobi National Park, which has big game such as lions, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos. The Dusit Princess Hotel Residences Nairobi is 40 minutes’ drive from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
In 2020 CityBlue announced plans for the largest aparthotel in Nairobi, offering 247 serviced apartments.
Dusit International has plans to open in Kuwait next year.
