Eric Davies promoted to president of Wurzak Hotel Group

US: Philadelphia-based Wurzak Hotel Group has announced the promotion of Eric Davies to president.

The hospitality management company has appointed Davies to succeed Jake Wurzak as president of Wurzak Hotel Group.

Jake Wurzak will now serve as Co-CEO along with Chairman and CEO Howard Wurzak.

Davies has been part of the Wurzak Hotel Group team for more than twenty years and his previous role was chief operating officer.

Davies will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations and overall strategic vision. He will also be part of WHG development and construction projects while leading the purchasing and procurement division for WHG Supply LLC (an affiliate of the Wurzak Hotel Group). 

Davies will also focus growth of the management company including managing brand relationships with the company’s hotel partners.

The Wurzak Hotel Group is a Philadelphia based, vertically integrated owner, developer and operator of premium branded full service, extended stay and focus service hotels.

Prior to joining the Wurzak Hotel Group in 2004, Davies served in leadership roles at a range of properties in Philadelphia under the Hilton, Starwood, Marriott and IHG brands. Other Philadelphia-based extended stay news includes Mint House announcing the opening two aparthotels this year.
