US: Extended Stay America has announced it will be converting more than 100 properties to join its portfolio later this year.
The properties, which are being added to the group, are all recently acquired WoodSpring Suites.
Greg Juceam, president and CEO, Extended Stay America said: “The addition of these properties, when combined with a growing trajectory of franchise properties in our pipeline, solidifies our position as the leader in extended stay. We will apply our proven focus solely on extended stay guests to these properties and expect to increase overall performance in each of their respective markets.”
The addition to the portfolio means Extended Stay America will have 762 hotels, and nearly 85,000 rooms across 45 states.
Extended Stay America is a leading mid-priced extended stay hotel brand in the US. Its extended stay brand family includes Extended Stay America Suites and Extended Stay America Premier Suites.
The company recently appointed two regional vice presidents to its team who will be dealing with franchise development across the US.
