Cambodia: Frasers Hospitality has signed three properties in Phnom Penh’s key commercial districts.
The first, an 88-key Capri by Fraser, will open in October 2022. The second property, another Capri by Fraser, will follow in 2024.
The properties will feature hotel suites, studios and one-bedroom units focused on short-term business travellers and mid-level executives on extended stays.
The 200-key Fraser Residence Sen Sok, the third property, will be completed by 2026. Located in the north-west outskirts of the city centre, it will be part of a mixed-use development that will include an office tower, retail mall and medical centre. It will be located near malls, a golf course and international schools, and is a 15-minute drive to industrial parks and the central business district.
Tonya Khong, Frasers Hospitality senior vice-president and head of Asia-Pacific, said the properties will assist in the return of travel, as well as befitting from the expected increase in business from events such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and the 2023 Southeast Asian Games.
