Australia: The Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne has unveiled a new look in time for The Australian Open and the 2023 Victoria events season.

The redesign is part of a rolling refurbishment program to reinvigorate first generation hotels that will see Adina Darling Harbour and Adina Town Hall in Sydney transformed, alongside Adina Adelaide Treasury, in the near future.

The transformation of the Adina Hotels brand over the past few years has given the interior design team a creative licence to reinvent.

The central aspect of the Melbourne building’s design is the transformation of the two and three-bedroom penthouses, suites and the warehouse-style accommodation. The hotel’s apartments are between 75sqm for a one bedroom to 150sqm for three-bedroom penthouses.

The design of the apartments is inspired by the Malthouse Lane’s history, in Melbourne, and the industrial eraís metallic fittings. All rooms have kitchens and a laundry facility, with a coffee table book signed by Rone.

The lobby has a new Rosso Levanto marble reception desk which extends to the ceiling.

Studio Del Castillo designed the interiors to offer an almost “off grid” experience with existing flooring and the original timber-lined walls around the reception area (pictured).

The Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne is close to the Federation Square,  restaurants, bars, and walking distance to the Flinder Street Station.
