UK: Plans for a Grade II listed villa, on a Liverpool golf course, to be converted to serviced apartments have been given the green light.
Hurst Hall on the 18-hole Huyton and Prescot Golf Club was built in the 1830s, and will now be converted to five serviced apartments with a ground floor extension.
The ground floor extension will have changing facilities, an orangery and a colonnade.
The work at the golf club will be in three phases: first the clubhouse conversion to serviced apartments, then the extension and the third phase will be landscaping and a terrace.
The serviced apartments will have a separate entrance from the public areas to the building and a guest lounge on the upper floors.
SAN recently reported Liverpool’s extended stay sector has a positive future according to iStay MD Ann Chambers.
