Ireland: Dublin serviced apartment operator ADOOR has promoted Edwina O’Connor to general manager.
O’Connor joined ADOOR from a banking background in 2017 and started work in operations. Quickly promoted to operations manager, she established new internal structures, improved day to day procedures in addition to the overall quality and style of ADOOR’s properties.
In 2018, she moved to a client-facing role dealing with suppliers, agents and clients with a focus on maintaining high occupancy, pricing, onboarding and integrating essential technology. In her new role, she continues to support operations, is essential in advising and training staff and plays a key role in keeping standards high.
“From joining the business, Edwina has consistently gone above and beyond to improve ADOOR’s product, service levels and to exceed clients’ expectations. The move to general manager was not planned but developed organically to a point where the promotion was merely acknowledging the role she has played for the last 12 months,” said Mark O’Connor, managing director.
Edwina O’Connor said: “While I have always enjoyed working for such a fast-paced, innovative and exciting company, as general manager, I look forward to further developing our commitment to excellent service, strengthening and expanding supplier relationships and maintaining a cohesive team who are essential in ensuring our brand, service and portfolio retain their excellent reputation.”
ADOOR has around 100 units under management in Dublin, and focuses on the corporate relocation and business travel markets.
