US: Development and management company Brandt Hospitality Group has opened its first extended stay hotel in New York, the Home2 Suites by Hilton Poughkeepsie.
Located on the banks of the Hudson River at 2619 South Road, the pet-friendly property offers 111 guest rooms equipped with kitchen amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. Induction burner cooktops are available from the front desk.
Guest suites also feature a separate living space with a sofa bed.
On-site amenities include an indoor pool, 24-hour fitness centre, and EV charging points.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Poughkeepsie is led by general manager John Fennell, and director of sales Amanda Lamando.
Brandt Hospitality Group is one of five divisions of Brandt Holdings Company. The division is based in Fargo, North Dakota.
According to the parent company’s website, BHG operates 18 properties in the US across 12 brands, including Marriott, IHG and Radisson.
Earlier this year, Brandt Hospitality opened its first hotel in Texas – the Residence Inn Dallas Grand Prairie. The group also completed a renovation of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Sioux Falls Airport.
BHC was established in 1992 by Ace Brandt. In addition to hospitality, its operating divisions include real estate, agriculture, industrial, and entertainment.
