UAE: Christian Potvin has been named general manager of Cheval Maison – Expo City Dubai ahead of its opening in March 2025.
Potvin joins Cheval from Al Hamra Residence and Al Hamra Village in Ras al Khaimah, where he held the role of cluster general manager.
Prior to this, he served as director of rooms for Accor at Mercure Barsha Heights and direct of rooms and acting GM at Dukes Dubai on The Palm.
“It is an exciting time to join Cheval Collection, as it builds its footprint in the UAE and wider Middle East,” said Potvin. “The market is ripe for high-quality serviced apartments which cater to the growing number of domestic and international travellers in the region, both leisure and business.”

Cheval Maison – Expo City marks the second site for Cheval Collection in Dubai, joining Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai, which opened in 2023.
The group’s first property in Saudi Arabia, Cheval Ladun Living, located in Riyadh, is due to be completed in 2027.
