UK: Cheval Three Quays has been named Best for Families at the 2016 Condé Nast Johansens Annual Awards for Excellence.

The awards ceremony, which took place on Monday 2 November at The May Fair Hotel in London, saw Cheval Three Quays compete against Castlemartyr resort Ireland and The Bloomsbury in their nominated category. Created to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across the Condé Nast Johansens recommended properties, the Awards for Excellence are “a trusted accolade of quality recognised by consumers and travel professionals alike”.

Dean Madge, general manager of Cheval Three Quays accepted the award at the event and said: “I was delighted to represent Cheval Residences and to accept the Condé Nast Johansens award for Best for Families on behalf of Cheval Three Quays. Since opening in 2014, family holidays have become an integral part of our makeup and we have strived to enhance our family offering, so we are absolutely thrilled that this has been recognised and rewarded.”

Cheval Three Quays, located near London’s Tower Bridge, provides a selection of child friendly goods and services, including children’s bedtime turndown, children’s bathrobes and slippers, children’s breakfast and Childs Farm toiletries for children.

For summer 2015, Cheval Three Quays launched a children’s activity pack including gym bag, activity book, pencils and puzzle.  Children are also given the opportunity to take a cuddly Cheval Unicorn called George on their travels around London and are asked to take photos of their adventures which are entered in to a monthly prize draw, with the winning selfie being awarded their own cuddly toy.

The award comes shortly after Cheval Three Quays was chosen as an Expedia Insiders’ Select 2015 hotel.
