UK: Coastal aparthotel brand SeaSpace is due to launch this year at the former Sands Resort in Cornwall, created by the team behind Watergate Bay, Beach Retreats and Another Place.
The team at Watergate Bay Hotel acquired the 10-acre Sands Resort located in Cornwall in 2022. The site has been repositioned under a new lifestyle aparthotel brand, SeaSpace.
SeaSpace: Porth will mark the first in a series of coastal aparthotels under the new flag. It will offer 56 self-catering spaces ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, each with a fully-fitted kitchen, dining/work table, and lounge area.
The Porth site has been granted planning permission for a further two apartments and 14 lodges in the grounds.
Amenities include a cafe and deli in the lobby, a bar and restaurant, a 24/7 self-service larder, 19-metre pool and children’s pool, and a gym. A partnership with UK Padel will also bring a five court padel tennis club to the grounds of SouthSpace: Porth.

There is not enough supply to meet these appetites and we are thrilled to be taking this next step with SeaSpace.”
SeaSpace is now taking bookings for stays from October 2024.
