UK: London-based serviced apartment specialist Cheval Collection has appointed Daniel Johansson as director of development and acquisitions.
Johansson will be dedicated to offering his expertise to the development and expansion of Cheval Collection, as well as to pre-openings of properties and the overall process.
Prior to joining Cheval Collection, Johansson, who has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, spent 17 years at Campbell Gray Hotels, where he was a founding member. He was part of delivering technical services, oversaw business development, master planning and the implementation of the company’s growth strategy globally.
In his role as development director for Campbell Gray Hotels, Johansson was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and developing significant projects in Europe, the West Indies and the Middle East. Johansson was also part of the pre-opening team for luxury London hotel, One Aldwych. Prior to this he attended hotel management school in Switzerland, and received hotel training and operational experience across various hotels in Europe.
Johansson’s core competencies include hotel management agreements, negotiation, business development strategies and master planning hotel projects.
