US: The 87-key Element Spring Valley has opened its doors for business in Rockland County, New York.
Located at 90 Spring Valley Marketplace, the hotel has 87 apartment-style rooms with kitchenettes, a fitness centre with an indoor heated pool, hot breakfast buffet and lobby bar.
“We are excited to be opening in Rockland County, especially during these uncertain times,” said Parakh Dani of owner SMG Hotels. “We believe Rockland is going to be a good fit and look forward to welcoming business travellers and tourists this fall.”
The project is expected to create more than 20 jobs.
“This project is critically important now as it will help with the recovery of the local economy during and after the COVID-19 crisis. The fact that they are here is recognition of the strength of Rockland’s business market and demographics,” said county economic development and tourism director Jeremy Schulman.
