The Netherlands: Serviced apartment brand Eric Vökel Boutique Apartments has opened its ninth property, located in Amsterdam.
Housed within the Pontsteiger Building designed by architects Arons & Gelauff, Eric Vökel Riverfront Suites is located in the Houthaven neighbourhood of Amsterdam. It marks the second property in the Dutch capital for the group.
The Riverfront Suites feature 12 apartments, each offering views of the IJ river. Accommodation ranges from one to two-bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens, offering a dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, tumbler dryer, oven, fridge, tableware and cutlery.
Apartments also offer a living room, all of which feature a mural of the city designed by local artists, including photographers and painters such as Fátima Tocornal and Març Rabal.
Guests of the property have access to the Eric Vökel Guest App which supports self-check-in, access to the apartment, and chat with the reception teams. It can also be used to research local activities including dining options.
Eric Vökel Riverfront Suites joins Eric Vökel Amsterdam Suites in Amsterdam. The brand first launched in Barcelona and has grown to nine sites located in European cities, including, Madrid, Hamburg and Copenhagen.
Each of the apartments are personally designed and decorated by Vökel, an architect and designer born in Copenhagen, Denmark.
