US: Management company Essex Hotel Management has added the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Myers Estero to its portfolio.
Countryside Hotels, LLC, an affiliate of one of Essex’s long-standing capital partners, recently acquired the TownePlace Suites in Estero, Florida. Essex entered the deal as a minority equity partner.
The property features 114 studio, one, and two-bedroom suites equipped with kitchens and living rooms. Amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness centre, the Coconut Cove bar, and more.
In the coming months, the extended-stay hotel will undergo a refresh.

Based in Rochester, NY, Essex Hotel Management has been involved in the hotel and multi-family property industry since the mid-1980s.
With the addition of the Towneplace Suites, the group’s total number of assets under management stands at 15.
