ITALY: Philipp Plein the German fashion designer has teamed up with Italian real estate company Gabetti to create luxury apartments in Milan and Rome.

The two buildings are part of a ‘build to rent’ business launched by G Rent Spa, which will operate under the brand Gabetti Short Rent, which is part of the Italian real estate company.

The two companies have exclusive management of the properties until 2035.

The two properties will feature spacious apartments where guests and residents can enjoy a gym, swimming pool, spa and large terrace to dine or socialise.

The layouts and style of the apartments will be designed by Philipp Plein the contemporary luxury fashion designer. It is the first time the designer has ventured into the global property market.

G Rent Spa launched in Milan in 2019 and its brand Gabetti Short Rent specialises in the management of short term rentals in the corporate and luxury segments.

The extended stay sector has attracted more designers to the table with AKA recently teaming up with Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni for its Hotel AKA NoMad in New York.
