Germany: Flexible housing provider Habyt will open 182 units in Quartier Heidestraße, a new urban development located in Europacity, this summer.
Europacity, currently under construction north of the main train station in Berlin, aims to create a mix of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. Approximately 3,000 apartments are scheduled to be built.
In Quartier Heidestraße, a shopping, working, and living district, Habyt will operate 182 units including studios and apartments for long-term stays. Every living space comes fully furnished with select apartments offering balconies.
Amenities include a ground floor communal area and a courtyard. The site will open officially in August 2024.
Patrick Breuer, senior real estate manager – DACH, Habyt, said: “As an entirely new and innovative part of Berlin, Europacity offers the perfect backdrop for our continual expansion in Germany. With the operation of these new 182 units at Quartier Heidestraße, Habyt is proud to offer even more flexible housing solutions to Berlin renters, empowering our tenants to enjoy a groundbreaking urban experience. With this new building, Habyt is also proud to be a significant part of Europacity, contributing to the continued growth of this new area within the Mitte district!”
Olaf Claessen, CEO of Montibus, the asset manager of the district, added: “Habyt is an important part of Berlin’s new Heidestraße quarter. It offers state-of-the-art temporary living units and fits in perfectly with the central, international location close to the main railway station. The mix of uses in Quartier Heidestraße, including local amenities, offices, family apartments and temporary living, is groundbreaking and provides a good basis for a vital new district.”
